The challenge

The new outdoor area in front of the “Westfields” distribution center of the logistics company “DPD Nederland” required an economical and durable solution. Crack-free requirements and heavily frequented truck traffic loads have the general requirements. Conditions defined.

Solution

The solution developed provided for a joint spacing of 8.00 x 4.62 m, which was perfectly planned for concrete paving using a concrete paver. The customer wanted a low-risk solution consisting of a high-quality fiber in combination with a static proof.

Product

Fibrofor Diamond with a dosage of 3.0 kg per m³ of concrete was used for the exterior surfaces in the logistics area.

Area of application

Fibrofor Diamond was used in the loading area of DC Westfields’ new logistics center. The panel thickness was 200 mm.
