Precast concrete parts

Cost reduction through innovative fiber-reinforced concrete solution

Efficient and durable

The production and installation of steel reinforcement in the precast industry is often very time-consuming and cost-intensive. The increasingly complex shapes of the parts pose an additional challenge.

The use of our Concrix solves these problems by massively reducing or completely replacing the reinforcing steel. As the fibers are not visible on the smooth surfaces of the formwork and plastic does not corrode, annoying traces of corrosion are not an issue in the long term.

Thanks to its high bending tensile values, excellent post-cracking behavior and resistance to creep proven in long-term tests, Concrix is the ideal macrofiber for your precast concrete elements. Furthermore, your CO₂ balance of the reinforcement system is significantly reduced by using Concrix.

If required, our engineers will prepare a free structural analysis based on the latest standards.

Speed up your production

Convincing

The high flexural strength values, the excellent post-cracking behavior and the long-term durability tests (creep / aggressive water) make Concrix ES more and more the preferred macrofiber for precast concrete elements.

Easy to use

There is no need to lay steel at all, or it is massively reduced. Concrix fibers enable ever thinner and lighter components. Fine elements and free forms, e.g. for architectural applications, can be realized.

Maintenance-free

Corrosion, a problem with steel fibers and steel mats, is not an issue with polyolefin fibers anyway; even aggressive liquids cannot harm Concrix fibers. You benefit from an extended service life without additional maintenance.

Reinforcement

Thanks to the uniquely high fiber density per 1 m³ of concrete and the even distribution, even the finest edges are effectively reinforced. In addition, Contec Fiber AG has an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Concrix ES in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
