Deflashing with Emsodur GV – Your benefits

Emsodur GV is a filled polyamide blasting media. The increased specific weight of Emsodur GV allows a deflashing or surface treatment of various metal die-casting parts.

Gentle surface treatment

Compared with metallic blasting medias, where surface removal is unavoidable, Emsodur GV will have a significantly lower or no measurable removal rate. A homogeneous, smooth and shiny surface is the result.

Less dust formation

When using Emsodur, almost no dust is generated during the blasting process. When using aggressive blasting media, a high amount of dust is generated by the abrasion.

Gentle to the installation technology

The more efficient and gentle use of Emsodur GV reduces equipment wear and saves costs for spare parts and maintenance.
